Plot
A long time ago, when wrestlers wore speedos and had back hair, the four corners of the thumb wrestling ring were a place of heroic deeds, of fair competition and of honour.
The brackets were made, the bells polished and rung, and the scores kept, all by the wise thumbs of the Thumb Wrestling Federation. The TWF was presided over by Newt Knuckle, one of the sport’s pioneers and its elder statesman. All was “A okay, thumbs up!” the old timers would say with a glint in their nails.
Thumbs up that is, until a young upstart named Page Boy Skull decided to give the whole thing the finger. Page Boy Skull was a young man in a hurry. He didn’t read the record books, and he didn’t respect the old timers, the greats that built the sport, thumbs like Newt Knuckle, Colonel Cossack, and Phineas D. Finger. Page Boy Skull didn’t want to work his way up by wrestling exhibition bouts in places like Thumboldt, Texas and Thumbleweed, Montana.
Page Boy Skull didn’t have the time. He wanted it all and he wanted it now.
